Wild Orphans

Hobsons Bay Libraries

Event Date: 26 September 2017
Author / Presenters: Stella Kinsella

We have lots of Australian indigenous animals in Hobsons Bay. But what happens if they get orphaned or injured?

Local writer, Stella Kinsella, will host local wild life carers Jacqui Hewitt and Leanne Kovach as they share stories about the inner world of foster animal care and some of the amazing animals, birds and reptiles they have cared for over the years.

Stella Kinsella will also share some of the stories that helped create the new release Wild Orphans - an adventure tale about orphaned kids caring for orphaned wildlife on their grandmother's unusual wild life sanctuary.

Sales and signings will be available on the day.

Ages: 5 to 12 years
